THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORK
Why Football Studies was created
James Green founded Warwickshire Community FC and Football Studies to explore a practical question: how can a community club be better organised while giving players and coaches a more coherent development environment?
He retains final authority for the present build. The longer-term aim is not to make the organisation permanently dependent on one person, but to turn working knowledge into clearer roles, systems and standards.
WHY IT MATTERS
Community football is full of connected problems
Administration affects coaches. Coaching affects player confidence. Facilities affect session quality. Communication affects trust. Safeguarding and governance affect everything. Treating each issue as a separate project rarely produces a strong club environment.
Start with reality
Warwickshire Community FC exposes the actual pressures of recruitment, communication, training, matchday and club administration.
Learn before scaling
Ideas are corrected through delivery. A second club is not treated as progress unless the first club is stable enough to teach something worth carrying forward.
Build durable systems
The goal is clearer ownership, safer decisions and useful development information — not unnecessary complexity.

Present position
Warwickshire Community FC is the present operating club. The platform, EDGE implementation and business model continue to be developed through controlled work. Wider expansion is not approved merely because the long-term structure can describe it.
Legal position
Football Studies is currently operated by WCFC LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 17282575. Warwickshire Community FC is the flagship club and operating unit, not an alternative company name.
